Final Stage of Construction to Begin

With all structural components completed, and traffic control devices shifted to their final location, the MD 234 Emergency Bridge project has reached Substantially Complete status.

/With the newly opened portion of the replacement bridge spanning Allen Fresh Run on MD 234, crossing the waterway no longer has to be a stressful situation for the local farmers. With 12 foot lanes and soon to be extended shoulders, the newly completed bridge will have room to spare for the largest of agricultural equipment.

Installation of west bound guardrails will be completed the first week of December with the permanent traffic patterns returning shortly there after.
